Special Fluorescence Studies
Scan your mineral using excimer (220nm) through blue light (up to 488nm) sources for a photo or report. Hard xrays, bulk cathodoluminesence, and radiofluorescence apparatuses are available, as well as HeCd, Nitrogen, Argon and diode lasers.

We are a small business providing analytical services for minerals. We specialize in Franklin, NJ specimens, and our interest in these minerals led us to create this business. We are analytical chemists by training, with a love of geology. Check out fo.rocks for some of our lab data!

For any inquiries, questions or commendations, fill out the following form, or simply email or call us!
You will need to sign a Terms and Condition form and a chain of custody form for your mineral before we can begin any testing services. We will acknowledge receipt and perform a weigh-in and check-in photo of your specimen upon receipt.
If you are in the northern NJ area and prefer not to ship your samples, we can arrange to meet in person with you in Franklin , NJ or at the Franklin Mineral Museum. For insurance and safety reasons, customers are not allowed into our laboratory.
If you would like to ship us a sample, please send it insured with tracking. If you do not include pre-paid return shipping, no worries! We will use flat rate USPS priority with insurance with tracking to get your sample back safety and quickly!
